3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Oreo Cookie Balls – Sweet Easy Recipes Everyone Loves

I’ll admit it—these peanut butter Oreo cookie balls saved me more than once. You know those days when the craving hits and you need something sweet, but the oven is basically your enemy? Yeah, same. This recipe steps in like your best friend with a tub of ice cream and zero judgment. All you need is peanut butter, Oreos, and a bit of chocolate for dipping. That’s it. No mixers, no fancy equipment, no baking. Just good old-fashioned rolling, dunking, and snacking. It’s dangerously easy. My only real warning? They disappear fast. Whether you're prepping a quick dessert for unexpected guests or rewarding yourself after a long workday, these little guys deliver. Rich, chocolatey, salty-sweet bliss in every bite. And yes, they work just as well with dairy-free or gluten-free substitutions, if that’s your thing.

Ingredients

  • 18 Oreo cookies (regular, not double-stuffed)
  • 4 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos in a food processor or place them in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin until finely ground.
  2. Scoop the crumbs into a bowl and mix in the peanut butter until it forms a dough-like texture.
  3. Roll into 1-inch balls and place them on a lined tray.
  4. Chill the balls in the fridge for at least 20 minutes so they firm up.
  5. While they chill, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  6. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, coat well, and place back on the tray.
  7. Refrigerate again for about 10–15 minutes until the chocolate sets. Done!
