Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
Boil the penne pasta according to the package directions, drain, and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until mostly smooth.
Fold in the shredded chicken, bacon, and green onions. Stir until everything is well coated.
Add the cooked pasta into the mixture and gently toss to combine.
Pour the entire mixture into the greased baking dish and smooth it out evenly.
Top with an extra sprinkle of cheddar if you’re feeling generous (I always do).
Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
Let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Try not to eat it straight from the pan—we've all been there.
