Cheesy Garlic Bread That’s Actually Addictive – cheesey potatoes easy recipe

Let’s be honest—there are few things in life more satisfying than pulling a slice of hot, cheesy garlic bread straight from the oven. The aroma alone is enough to make neighbors pretend they’re ‘just stopping by.’ I’ve lost count of how many times this has been requested at our dinner table. It’s crusty, soft, cheesy, and has just enough garlic to remind you you’re alive. This cheesy garlic bread is my go-to side for everything from cozy family dinners to Friday night snacks while binge-watching shows. It’s quick, easy, and uses simple pantry ingredients you probably already have (if not, you’ll want to now). We’re talking gooey cheese, butter that soaks into every crevice, and a crispy golden edge that makes each bite kind of ridiculous. If you’re craving something warm, simple, and ridiculously good, this one’s for you. Perfect for fans of cheesey potatoes easy recipe, easy recipes for dinner, easy appetizer recipes, easy bread recipes, easy snack recipes, easy side dish recipes, and yes, even butter swim biscuits easy recipes.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread (or Italian, or whatever you love)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (or more if you like to live dangerously)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional but it looks pretty)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the bread in half lengthwise and lay both pieces cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  3. Mix the butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano in a bowl. Slather it all over the bread halves. Don't be shy.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses evenly across both halves.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and a little browned in spots.
  6. Let it cool for a minute or two (good luck with that), then slice and serve. Sprinkle parsley on top if you're feeling classy.
