Cinnamon Donut Bread Recipe for Sweet Easy Recipes Fans

Cinnamon Donut Bread is one of those treats that makes the house smell like you know what you’re doing—even if you’re still in pajamas at noon. We’ve all had those mornings where a single warm bite of something sweet and spiced makes the world a softer place. This bread? It’s that moment, sliced and ready to devour. It walks the line between a nostalgic cake donut and a cozy breakfast loaf, but without all the fuss of frying or fancy mixing techniques. Just a bowl, a spoon, and maybe a little self-control. It’s the sort of thing you bake once, then suddenly you’re ‘that person’ who always brings the good stuff to brunch. I mean, who needs store-bought when you’ve got cinnamon swirls wafting through the kitchen and crumbs that practically beg for coffee on the side? This one’s filed under sweet easy recipes, but it could easily sneak into breakfast easy recipes, bread easy recipes, and even air fryer desserts easy recipes (with a tweak or two). Let’s get into it.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until just combined. Don’t overmix—lumpy is lovely.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let the loaf cool slightly, then brush the top with melted butter.
  7. Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl and sprinkle over the warm loaf.
  8. Slice, serve, and try not to eat the whole thing in one sitting.
