Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp
  • 4 slices Colby-Jack cheese
  • 4 leaf lettuce pieces
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 4 toasted hamburger buns
  • Mayonnaise, for spreading

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally to create thin cutlets.
  2. In a bowl, mix pickle juice, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill (or air fryer if you're feeling fancy).
  4. Grill the chicken for about 3-4 minutes per side until fully cooked and nicely charred.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each piece to melt.
  6. Assemble the sandwich: spread mayo on buns, then layer lettuce, tomato, cheesy grilled chicken, and bacon.
