Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, add red pepper flakes if using, and bring to a gentle simmer.
Stir in the parmesan cheese and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
Add the cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet. Toss everything to coat well.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
