Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Roll out one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Pinch seams together.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent dough in the pan.
  5. Roll out the second can of dough and carefully lay it over the cream cheese layer. Pinch seams again.
  6. Pour melted butter over the top layer. Mix 1/4 cup sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle generously over the buttered dough.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and slightly firm to the touch.
  8. Let it cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing into squares. Refrigerate leftovers—if you have any!
