Fudge Popsicles – Sweet Easy Recipes for a Chilled Treat

Let’s talk about fudge popsicles. They're cold, creamy, and just the right mix of rich and refreshing. I started making these one summer afternoon when my kitchen felt more like a sauna than a workspace. One bite, and I was hooked. They’re one of those sweet easy recipes that don’t require much effort, which, let’s be honest, is what we all want when the sun’s blazing and patience is in short supply. These fudge pops hit the perfect spot between childhood nostalgia and grown-up chocolate cravings. The best part? They’re no bake, which means no oven, no sweat (literally), and no dishes stacked like Jenga towers. Just blend, pour, and freeze. Boom. Chocolatey joy on a stick. Whether you’re chasing kids around the yard or binge-watching your favorite throwback sitcom, these little frozen treats bring chill vibes and fudgy goodness. Plus, you’ve got built-in portion control… unless, like me, you pretend two pops equals one serving. We don’t judge here. Ready to make freezer magic? Let’s get to it.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Whisk the milk, cream, cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat until smooth.
  2. Heat the mixture until just warm, not boiling—think cozy bath water, not lava.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly (just enough so you don’t fog up your freezer).
  4. Pour into popsicle molds and pop them in the freezer for at least 6 hours, or overnight if you're patient.
  5. To release, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds and gently pull out your frozen masterpiece.
