Hawaiian Roll Garlic Bread – Bread Easy Recipes Everyone Will Love

Let’s be real—sometimes, the best part of dinner is the bread. And this one? Oh, it's no ordinary loaf. We're talking about Hawaiian Roll Garlic Bread. Sweet, buttery, garlicky, and loaded with cheese—the kind of thing you 'accidentally' eat half of before the main dish hits the table. I first made this on a rushed weeknight, not expecting much, and now it's a full-on family obsession. It takes minutes to prep, uses things you probably already have, and somehow still feels like a warm hug from the oven. Whether you’re serving it with pasta, soup, or just your favorite TV show on the couch—this is one of those easy wins. No dough to knead, no yeast stress, and did I mention there's garlic butter involved?

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of Hawaiian sweet rolls (12-count)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Without pulling the rolls apart, slice the entire block in half horizontally to make a top and bottom slab.
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls on your prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  5. Brush half of the garlic butter over the bottom layer of rolls.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheeses evenly over the bottom layer.
  7. Place the top half of the rolls back on. Brush with remaining garlic butter.
  8. Cover loosely with foil and bake for about 10 minutes, then uncover and bake another 5 minutes until the top is golden and the cheese is melty.
  9. Slice, serve, and try not to eat them all in one go.
