Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite kind)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the chicken thighs skin-side up in a baking dish.
  5. Pour the honey BBQ mixture over the chicken, making sure to coat each piece well.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes, basting once or twice with the sauce during cooking.
  7. Once the skin is crispy and the internal temp hits 165°F (75°C), remove from the oven.
  8. Let it rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley if you like, and serve warm.
