Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and lemon juice. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add broccoli and a splash of water. Sauté until tender-crisp.
  5. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink.
  6. Return sausage to the skillet, pour the sauce over everything, and stir to coat.
  7. Cook for 2-3 more minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Serve hot.
