Honey Garlic Shrimp with Sausage and Broccoli – Easy Shrimp Recipes

Some nights, I stare into the fridge hoping for inspiration—and that’s how this honey garlic shrimp with sausage and broccoli was born. I had some frozen shrimp, a rogue sausage link, and a sad little head of broccoli. What happened next? Magic. Sweet, sticky, garlicky magic. We’re talking quick. Like 20-minutes-and-it’s-on-your-plate quick. And the flavor? Oh, it’s bold, savory, and balanced with just enough sweetness to make you lick the spoon. I won’t judge. I’ve done it too. The shrimp soak up that honey garlic glaze like they were made for it. And the sausage? Spicy, smoky, and the perfect curveball. Whether you’re cooking for yourself or trying to impress someone with minimal effort (we’ve all been there), this dish checks all the boxes. Minimal cleanup, fast prep, and enough flavor to make it feel like you planned this all week.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pan over medium heat, warm up the olive oil and butter.
  2. Toss in the sausage slices and cook until browned. Set them aside.
  3. Add the shrimp to the pan. Cook until they just turn pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. Drop the garlic into the pan and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, and pepper flakes. Let it bubble for a minute.
  6. Return the shrimp and sausage to the pan. Stir to coat everything in the glaze.

  8. Toss everything gently, taste for salt and pepper, and serve warm.
