Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ground ginger, crushed red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
  4. Pour the sauce over the beef and stir well. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve the beef over cooked white rice, garnished with green onions, sesame seeds, and shredded carrots if desired.
