Ingredients

  • 1 pound hamburger meat (ground beef)
  • 8 ounces pasta (elbow macaroni or shells)
  • 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 ounces)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until soft and fragrant.
  3. Add the hamburger meat and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 5–7 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat to low. Stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked pasta, crumbled bacon, and cheddar cheese. Toss until everything is coated and the cheese is melted.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
