Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and sear both sides until golden, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth to deglaze the pan.
Add heavy cream, Parmesan, chili flakes, sun-dried tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
Return chicken to skillet. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
