In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
Add flour, eggs, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the butter into the dough one tablespoon at a time until smooth.
Cover and let rise for 1 hour in a warm spot until doubled in size.
Divide the dough into 12 pieces, shape into rolls, and place in a greased baking dish.
Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
Brush rolls with egg wash.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
Let cool slightly before serving.
