Nutty Churro Bites with Nutella – Sweet Easy Recipes You’ll Crave

Let’s talk about churros, shall we? They’re crunchy, golden, cinnamon-sugar dreams—but bite-sized and with Nutella? Game changer. These nutty churro bites bring together the toasty warmth of a carnival treat and the creamy hazelnut joy we all know too well. I made a batch of these one rainy Saturday, thinking they'd last a few days. They were gone in an hour. No regrets. They’re ridiculously easy to whip up, and if you’ve got a sweet tooth or, honestly, just a pulse, you’re going to love them. The cinnamon coating gives that classic churro punch, and the gooey Nutella middle? Don’t even get me started. You don’t need a deep fryer. Just a muffin tin, some pantry basics, and a willingness to get a little sugar on your sleeves. Trust me, these are worth it. Let’s get baking.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Nutella or hazelnut spread
  • 1/4 cup chopped roasted peanuts or hazelnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin or line with paper cups.
  2. Separate each biscuit and cut into quarters. Flatten each piece with your fingers.
  3. Place about half a teaspoon of Nutella in the center of each flattened piece.
  4. Fold the dough around the Nutella, pinching to seal it well. Roll gently into a ball.
  5. Place each ball into the muffin tin slot. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. While they bake, mix the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.
  7. When the bites come out of the oven, brush them with melted butter.
  8. Roll the warm bites in cinnamon sugar and sprinkle with chopped nuts if using.
  9. Let cool slightly (but not too much—these are best warm and gooey).
