Oreo Delight Dessert – A Classic from Elena Cooks

Let’s be real—there are days when you don’t want to preheat the oven or measure flour like it’s a science experiment. That’s exactly when this Oreo Delight swoops in to save the day. You start with the humble Oreo, crush it into a glorious base, and layer it up with whipped cream, pudding, and more Oreos. It’s the kind of no-bake treat that makes your inner child do a little happy dance, especially after the first cold, creamy bite hits your tongue. I’ve made this for potlucks, barbecues, and yes—even for solo binge-watching marathons. It always disappears faster than you can say, 'Did someone eat the last piece?' And if you’re thinking, 'Do I really need another dessert recipe in my life?' Trust me—this one’s more of a necessity than an indulgence. It’s that good. From my kitchen to yours, I hope it brings a little joy and a lot of chocolatey goodness. Now grab that spoon. Let’s do this.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies), crushed
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 container (12 ounces) Cool Whip, divided
  • 2 packages (3.9 ounces each) instant chocolate pudding
  • 3 1/4 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos and mix with melted butter. Press into a 9x13-inch dish to form the crust.
  2. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and 2 tablespoons milk until smooth. Fold in half of the Cool Whip. Spread over the crust.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mixes and 3 1/4 cups milk. Let it thicken, then spread over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Top with the remaining Cool Whip. Chill for at least 4 hours, then slice and serve!
